UNIVERSITY OF SCOUTING

University of Scouting is an Annual Event hosted by the BSA Allegheny Highlands Council that welcomes Scouting Adults, Volunteers, Parents, and Scouts and Youth of all ages for an action packed day of fun Scout activities, training, and fellowship.

We offer upwards of 100 different classes with dozens of new offerings each year. Sign up for anything that interests you! From Scout Skits and Songs to learning how to cook one pot meals while backpacking - we have something for everyone!

We have over 20 Merit Badges available for Scouts BSA to earn - many taught by University Professors that are experts in their fields! Imagine doing Geology Merit Badge with a real Paleontologist, or working on Digital Technology with a Professor who invented computer equipment that goes on airplanes!

We also offer a full day Cub Camp for Youth in grades K-4, and a special Adventure track for our Webelos and Arrow of Light Cubs.
